However, you can hide this banner by launching Chrome with a specific flag (--silent-debugger-extension-api). Here is how you can do it:

  1. Right-click the shortcut you use to launch Google Chrome (e.g., on your Desktop or Taskbar) and click Properties.
  2. Find the Target field (which usually ends in chrome.exe").
  3. Add a space and then add --silent-debugger-extension-api at the very end. It should look something like this:
"C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --silent-debugger-extension-api
  1. Click Apply and OK.
  2. Close all running instances of Chrome and reopen it using that shortcut.

You can start Chrome from the Terminal using the following command:

open -b com.google.Chrome --args --silent-debugger-extension-api

(Or you can create a small AppleScript or Automator application to launch it with this flag every time.)
